Only Domains with a low Spam Score (1 to 30%), see below for more details on domain spam score.
Spam Score
Understanding and managing your website's spam score is crucial for maintaining a healthy SEO profile and avoiding potential penalties from search engines like Google. A spam score evaluates the likelihood of your site being penalized based on certain practices deemed as spammy. While tools like Moz and Semrush offer their own spam score metrics, it's important to note that these are not official Google metrics. Google has clarified that it doesn't consider third-party spam scores when ranking pages.
3waySocial uses its own internal algorithm to define our spam score for domain listing purposes. The score is 1-100, with 1 being perfect and 100 being the worst type of spammy domain.
We consider a score between 1-30 as an acceptable measure of a good domain and a valuable link partner.
Key Factors Influencing Spam Score:
Link Quality: Acquiring backlinks from low-quality sources, such as irrelevant websites, penalized sites, link farms, or private blog networks (PBNs), can elevate your spam score. Google's updates, including the March 2024 Core Update and the June 2024 Spam Update, have enhanced its AI-based spam prevention system, RankBrain, to target unnatural links and various spammy practices.
Link Velocity: An unnatural spike in the number of new backlinks, such as acquiring 200 backlinks at once, can signal potential manipulative link-building practices. This can lead Google to scrutinize your site more closely, especially if it's relatively new.
How to Reduce Spam Score:
Audit Your Backlinks: Regularly review your backlink profile to identify and remove toxic or irrelevant links. Tools like Moz and Semrush can assist in this process.
Disavow Unwanted Links: If you find spammy backlinks that you cannot remove manually, use Google's Disavow Tool to inform the search engine to ignore these links.
Build High-Quality Backlinks: Focus on acquiring backlinks from reputable, relevant websites within your niche. This not only helps in reducing the spam score but also enhances your site's authority.
Maintain Natural Link Growth: Ensure that the acquisition of new backlinks appears natural over time, avoiding sudden spikes that could raise red flags.
By proactively managing these aspects, you can maintain a low spam score, thereby supporting a robust and effective SEO strategy and a welcomed member of 3waySocial!
Domain Status
It is only acceptable to list a domain, if at least one backlinking service is selected. Domains with no services selected will be removed.
If you can only place Guest Posts on the domain and not link insertions on existing content, or visa versa, then change your domain settings accordingly.
Once set, you will see the selections in the domain dashboard overview:
Domain Link Value
Every domain is assigned a link value, based on its ahrefs Domain Rank and Estimate Traffic, as well as our own domain spam score, ensuring fair and equitable backlink deals for all.
Permanence
All links must be permanent. We monitor every link and guest post facilitated by the platform and proactively resolve any broken links with the member. As such we guarantee every link provided by 3waySocial, or you money back!
