Selling, Buying & Exchanging Backlinks

In the previous article we covered How to Register Your Domain so you should now have at least one domain listed within your Dashboard.

In order to start swapping links we now need to move on from the Dashboard and into your 'Domain Management' area. You can do this simply by selecting the domain from the Dashboard.

You'll notice the screen is now displaying the Domain Management tab and you can see a summary of your domain, along with the metrics and values associated with it. You'll notice you have some icons showing whether you are open to giving links, receiving links, and guest posts. To turn any of these on/off just click on the Settings Tab and you'll have the option to do this.

When you select any of the tabs titled 'Give Links, 'Receive Links' or 'Guest Posts' you will see all the domains other users have registered on the 3Way Social platform.

The process is simple: - Search the table and identify appropriate domains for link exchanges.

• "Receive Links" — send requests to website owners to link to your domain. (Note - you'll need adequate credits available)

• "Give Links" — add links on your domain and earn credits to receive links. Select this option if you only want paid opportunities - see video below for more details...

To search for an appropriate domain you can filter the results using the filter icon on the right hand side. This will allow you to input a minimum and/or maximum value for Traffic and Rating, as well as selecting a Category. You can then choose to Sort the table by Traffic, Rating, Category, Credit Cost, and Approved/Declined (this shows how active the user has been on the platform).

Once you've found a potential linking domain simply hit the 'Request' button to open a new screen to input a few details as seen here.

First, check that you are happy with your Link URL and the anchor text for the link.

Then, choose the linking page, or if you have a specific page you want the link to be from, you can search and suggest the full URL.

The credits you are going to spend/earn will be shown on the right hand side.

If you are happy with everything you can hit the button 'Send Request' and await a response from the other party.
